Fiscal Summary for *SB0123 / HB1146Increase State Expenditures - Net Impact - $635,300 Bill Summary for *SB0123 / HB1146 This bill requires that at least 30 percent of the motor vehicles purchased for the state fleet each fiscal year be energy-efficient motor vehicles. This requirement applies to motor vehicles designed for carrying 10 or fewer passengers. For purposes of this bill, an "energy-efficient" motor vehicle is one that has an estimated highway gas mileage rating of at least 35 miles per gallon.
