Expenditures - Not Significant Bill Summary for HB1273 / *SB0906 This bill requires employers, including the state and political subdivisions thereof, to verify the employment eligibility of a person, prior to hiring the person as an employee, by participating in the basic verification pilot program. Employers must maintain a copy of the documentation verifying a person's employment eligibility for at least three years.
