Companion Bill SB1758. Emergency Communications Districts - Authorizes Shelby County mayor to appoint board of directors of seven to 11 members to govern such county's emergency communications district; directors are subject to confirmation by county legislative body. - Amends TCA Section 7-86-105. Fiscal Summary for HB1564 / *SB1758 Increase Local Govt. Expenditures - Not Significant/Permissive Bill Summary for HB1564 / *SB1758 Present law requires each emergency communications district that is created by a county to be governed by a board of directors composed of seven to nine members.
