Election Laws - Requires certain elections be conducted by mail; authorizes state coordinator of elections to promulgate rules to effectuate the purposes of this act. - Amends TCA Title 2. Expenditures* - $1,494,600 (two times every two years) Bill Summary for SB0642 / *HB0485 This bill requires that certain elections be conducted by mail and authorizes other elections to be conducted by mail. Under present law, any voter is generally authorized to vote on election day at a polling place located within the precinct where the voter is registered to vote.
