Expenditures* - $965,000 Recurring $305,000 One-Time Bill Summary for *SB0012 / HB0017 This bill adds to the circumstances under which registered voters are authorized to vote by absentee ballot. Present law authorizes registered voters to vote by absentee ballot under specific circumstances, such as absence from the county on election day, observance of a religious holiday, or serving as an election official. This bill expands this authorization so that any registered voter may vote by absentee ballot if the voter applies to do so.
