Companion Bill SB0026. Students - Exempts from Open Meetings Act student disciplinary hearings conducted by school board after appeal by student, principal, principal-teacher, or assistant principal of decision of disciplinary hearing authority unless student or student's parent or guardian requests in writing an open hearing; prohibits the board's conducting any other business, discussing any other subject, or taking a vote on any other matter at such a hearing. - Amends TCA Section 49-6-3401.
