Companion Bill SB2175. Education - Replaces pre-graduation exit examination with three mandatory assessment exams, approved by the commissioner of education, to provide educators with information that will improve high school graduation rates and improve post-secondary achievement; exams to be administered in grades eight, 10, and 11, and the results analyzed and reported by the commissioner to the select oversight committee on education. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 6.
