ON JUNE 12, 2007, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 437, AS AMENDED.
AMENDMENT #1 requires that the salary schedules for licensed teachers, rather than teachers and other professional personnel, at the statewide comprehensive rehabilitation and training center be comparable to those of other teachers in the LEA. This amendment also requires the salary adjustments to be funded through the existing resources of the department of human services.
