Companion Bill HB0261. Criminal Offenses - Raises punishment for simple assault from Class A misdemeanor to Class E felony if it is second or subsequent assault and victim is a health care worker; permits magistrate to issue arrest warrant rather than citation when offense complained of is assault against health care worker. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 13, Part 1 and Title 40, Chapter 6, Part 2.
