Companion Bill HB1425. Courts, General Sessions - Authorizes division of general sessions court of Shelby County with environmental jurisdiction to employ a referee to assist in the hearing of certain cases, subject to approval by local legislative body; authorization effective until December 10, 2010, unless reauthorized by county legislative body by September 1, 2010; requires reauthorization every 10 years thereafter by local legislative body. - Amends TCA Chapter 426 of the Public Acts of 1991.
