Companion Bill HB1684. Courts - Increases the number of members composing the advisory committee established under the Drug Court Treatment Act of 2003 from five to seven; requires that two members be judges who have presided over a drug court for at least two years and that two members be drug coordinators who have functioned as drug coordinators in actively implementing drug courts for at least two years. - Amends TCA Title 16. Fiscal Summary for *SB1836 / HB1684 Other Fiscal Impact - There will be a shift of local government funds associated with this bill. County revenues will increase and municipal expenditures will increase as a result of reimbursing the county for qualifying judges. This shift is not estimated to be significant.
