Fiscal Summary for *HB1990 / SB2160MINIMAL Bill Summary for *HB1990 / SB2160 This bill requires private prison contractors to return inmates to the sending state for release. In the case of federal inmates, this bill requires private prison contractors to send the inmate to the closest federal prison or to the federal authority of the state in which federal custody over the inmate originated for release.
