Expenditures - Less than $10,000* Bill Summary for SB0701 / *HB0572 This bill prohibits municipalities from forwarding unpaid parking tickets to a collection agency without first notifying the owner of the motor vehicle for which the parking ticket was issued. The notice must inform the owner that the unpaid ticket will be turned over to a collection agency unless the owner pays the ticket within 30 days from the date the letter was mailed.
