Divorce, Annulment and Alimony - Authorizes defendant in divorce case to issue peremptory challenge against judge assigned to hear case. - Amends TCA Title 17; Title 20 and Title 36, Chapter 4. Expenditures - Not Significant Other Fiscal Impact - In judicial districts that have only one sitting judge or a very limited number of judges, the proposed legislation could result in a need for additional resources to increase the number of sitting judges. State and local government courts may require additional funding but such can not be determined at this time.
