Fiscal Summary for HB2164 / *SB1390Other Fiscal Impact - For all Local Education Agencies (LEA) to implement programs for overweight children there will be an increase in local government expenditures of $9,072,000. The bill requires that funding for the programs be received from gifts, grants, and donations. Prior to the implementation of any program that is required by this part, an LEA will need to receive proper funding sufficient to fund the cost of such program.
