Fiscal Summary for *HB1493

Increase Local Govt. Expenditures - Not Significant Other Fiscal Impact - If local governments prevent the location of a business in a particular area, that local government and the state may experience a decrease in sales tax revenue that would have been generated by the business in the absence of the provisions of this bill. Such decrease may be offset to some extent if barring the business in a particular area leads to higher property values in the area and subsequently higher property tax revenue.
