Companion Bill SB1494. Economic and Community Development - Redefines property included in central business improvement districts; revises certain other provisions concerning such districts; authorizes municipalities to acquire improvements in connection with such districts. - Amends TCA Title 7, Chapter 84. Fiscal Summary for HB1792 / *SB1494 Decrease Local Govt. Expenditures - Not Significant Other Fiscal Impact - If a district that imposes a special assessment expands according to the provisions of the bill, there will be a corresponding increase in revenue for the local government. The magnitude of such increase will depend upon the size of the expansion and the amount of any special assessments within the district.
