Companion Bill SB0948. Alcoholic Offenses - Increases penalty for offense of child endangerment from mandatory 30 days to mandatory 11 months, 29 days and raises age of child in car necessary to constitute child endangerment from under 13 to under 16. - Amends TCA Section 55-10-414. Revenues - Not Significant Bill Summary for *HB0056 / SB0948 Under present law, it is a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by a mandatory minimum incarceration of 30 days and a mandatory minimum fine of $1,000, when a person drives under the influence of any intoxicant, drug, or drug producing stimulant with a child under 18 years of age in an automobile or other motor driven vehicle.
