Companion Bill SB1094. Vital Records - Requires death certificates be issued for each induced termination of pregnancy in this state. - Amends TCA Title 68. Fiscal Summary for *HB0982 / SB1094Increase State Expenditures - $69,000 One-Time Increase Local Govt. Expenditures - Not Significant Bill Summary for *HB0982 / SB1094 Present law requires that each induced termination of pregnancy that occurs in this state be reported to the office of vital records within 10 days after the procedure by the person in charge of the institution in which the induced termination of pregnancy was performed. This bill revises this requirement to instead require that a death certificate be prepared for each induced termination of pregnancy.
