To amend the Public Health Service Act to address antimicrobial resistance. 9/27/2007--Introduced. Strategies to Address Antimicrobial Resistance Act - Amends the Public Health Service Act to direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to: (1) establish, and appoint the Director of, the Office of Antimicrobial Resistance in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health to develop plans for addressing antimicrobial resistance in the United States and internationally; (2) establish the Public Health Antimicrobial Advisory Board to assist the Director; and (3) develop an antimicrobial resistance strategic research plan. Renews the Antimicrobial Resistance Task Force and sets forth its membership and duties.Requires sponsors of human and animal antimicrobial drug products to report to the Office of Antimicrobial Resistance the amount of such drug products sold or distributed in the United States in a calendar year.
