To provide for certain administrative and support services for the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Commission, and for other purposes. 10/22/2007--Passed House amended. (There is 1 other summary) Amends the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2000 to revise the administrative authorities of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Commission. Authorizes the Commission to: (1) enter into contracts for specialized or professional services without regard to certain civil service requirements; (2) accept gifts of real or personal property; (3) appoint an architect; (4) hire and fire staff without regard to competitive service requirements and obtain temporary, intermittent, and part-time services; (5) enter into cooperative agreements with other government and private entities; and (6) accept volunteer services.
