Expresses support for the goals and ideals of National Dog Bite Prevention Week. Urges: (1) municipalities to work with the U.S. Postal Service to adopt and implement effective dog bite injury prevention programs; and (2) communities to consider the many factors contributing to a dog's tendency to bite Postal employees and to enact model programs and legislation addressing those factors.
