A concurrent resolution supporting the goals and ideals of a National Medal of Honor and to celebrate and honor the recipients of the Medal of Honor on the anniversary of the first award of that medal in 1863. 2/15/2007--Passed Senate without amendment. (There is 1 other summary)
(This measure has not been amended since it was introduced. The summary of that version is repeated here.) Recognizes the: (1) heroism and sacrifice of Medal of Honor recipients; and (2) educational opportunity that a National Medal of Honor Day would present to the people of the United States.
